Kylie Grace!!!

Better late than never right!?
Kylie Grace is now 16 day old. She was born July 17th at 8:44am I was in labor exactly 12 hours and 9 minutes. I pushed about 5 times in maybe 2 minutes and out came my perfect little girl! She was 7 pounds and 1 ounce, 21 1/4 inches long. Everything is 100% with her. Only thing is she is to small for all her newborn clothes, but were making it work! At our WIC appointment when she was 6 days she was 7lbs 4.5 oz, then her first doctor appointment at 11 days old she was 7lbs 8oz. She's gaining weight ok and I think she started a growth spurt early! ALL yesterday she ate constantly, now today shes fast asleep even if you move her all around!
She has been breastfeeding like a pro, and she's pretty good sleeping in her own bed so far. We've spent 3 nights in the living room. I was scared because I couldn't get her to sleep at all in the hospital in her bed, only in peoples arms! Oh and her brothers absolutly LOVE her! Eli loves to hold her and kiss her and protects her from Tiernan since he's accident prone! And Tiernan loves her most the time. He gets jealous and wants mommy time at least once a day for maybe half an hour. When he's hungry or wants juice he freaks if I'm nursing her though. Tiernan will come up to us and say "old er" and I bet you can guess what he wants to do!
Hubby has been a huge help since she was born too. I'm really lucky with my little family! The only issue is shopping. I can't do it alone with the kids, but Joe doesn't let me do it alone. He makes me spend to much money...We'll get into our grove soon, I hope.

T-minus 0

Today is D-day! For the last 9ish months (or however long I've know I was pregnant) I've been waiting for this day to come! July 12th, the magical day I'm DUE to have my baby. My baby girl, my princess, my first (and hopefully last) little girl. I've been waiting, planning, and getting ready for this day for 9 months! And here I am...It has finally come, and I am STILL PREGNANT!
I'm so ready to have this baby! My mom and I went to Wal Mart last night and bought some more little girlie things for little Miss Kylie Grace's arrival! My son picked out socks and an pink onsie, its the boys gift to her, I still need to get gifts from her to them. But this little girl is going to be spoiled, and oh soooo girlie! I can't wait.
After having two rough tough little boys I can't wait to get my hands on a girl! I have lots of hand me downs, garage sale, and brand new clothes for her. Most of which are the girliest things I could find! She has more pink that anyone I know, bows and hearts and headbands galore...and the thing is... I'm not even really a girlie girl! I NEVER wear dresses and hardly ever a skirt. haha oh well, I can live through my baby!

I have been telling everyone that Elijah was born in a thunder storm, I remember hear the thunder all the night while I was in labor for him, I think it stopped before he was born, but i still labored through it. And Tiernan was born during a terrible snow storm! My sister and dad drove up to see me going about 10-15 mile and hour in near white out conditions in a 4-wheel drive jeep! So I think Kylie will be born during a storm too.
Here's the thing... Tomorrow it IS SUPPOSED to be a thunder storm at like 1pm to 6 pm or something like that. While that works for me, and my mom who will get to be in the labor room with me (her boss is ok with letting her go when need be). it so does NOT work for my hubby! Im so scared I'm going to go in to labor after he leaves for work tomorrow! He will be making a near 6 hour drive to go to some Buddhist camp thing to service their septic type system, plus other places near there. Im scared if I go into labor while he's down there he might miss our little girl being born! I am very not ok with the thought of my husband not being there with me. I'm glad my mom will get to be there with me, but I need my honey too! Oh well I guess what happens happens, and I know he will try his best to get there, its just the thought. Plus I don;t even know if I'll go into labor tomorrow!

Worry worry worry!

one penny at a time...

I found a new website beruby.com thats pays you to go to other websites. All you do is sign up and when you go to the pages you normal would do so through the website. For example you can add facebook to your favorites and instead of going to facebook directly, you go to beruby first and go to facebook through there. You get a penny a visit, its not much but it adds up! I got a dollar just for joining. The website selection isn't huge but its beta so I think it might get bigger!
Everything helps no a days! And hubby can't say anything about me not working and being on facebook, because I'm getting paid for it now lol!

P.S. I'm still freaken pregnant! 5 days left :( I hope

Happy 4th!

Happy forth of July! Today Is the only day i DON'T want to have my baby! Every so many years I share my birthday with Thanksgiving and I hate it! I hate that my birthday is even close to Thanksgiving, I guess I just don't share well. But I don;t want my baby girl to have to share her birthday every year! So if I go into labor today I 'm hoping to hold off until tomorrow!
But so far so good today! My oldest son Eli is with his father at the parade, and tiernan is napping at home with me in the AC. Hubby is IN the parade with the fire department! For some reason he seemed excited about it, even though it really doesn't seem like his thing! I think Its seeing Eli get really excited as "daddy" passes by on the fire truck! My husband and my ex get along in person but Joe wants to be daddy and have my ex disappear! I wouldn't mind that either, it would make life easier, but its to late, it is what it is. Oddly enough, Elijah and his father are sitting with my sisters family, and my brother in law didn't get along with my ex to well at the end! As long as Elijah has fun and is happy, thats all that matters to me. The ex (Corey) doesn't usually take Eli two days in a row, but I'm feeling generous, he took him an extra hour yesterday, and then for the parade today, at least 2 hours. I even suggested that! Im so sweet. LOL
Im kinda happy I didn't have to go to the parade. I don't hate the parade, but I don;t enjoy it like others do. I have lived here all my life, except 2 years I lived an hour away and still came here for the parade, and its just the same thing every year. The music the bands play changes, the dances the 5 different studios do are different, but all the rest SAME! I was thinking of taking Tiernan by myself. But I don;t think he'll really enjoy it enough to miss his nap. Naps are very important to that little boy! So is his bunny! Which I'm going to go sneak in his room and steal so it can get washed. That thing is nasty!
But I guess I should get my rear is gear and get some dishes done, after bunny of course...priorities!
Well have a happy and safe 4th of July!

I want to be rich!

I signed up for swagbucks a while ago, and I have no idea what I'm doing... But I think I'll catch on with time. If anyone has any tips feel free to leave me a comment! I have the widget at the bottom of my blog to incase anyone wants to use it, feel free!
I had another good shopping trip this week. My dad took Eli wednesday, so Tiernan and I were left alone to get groceries. I had planned the trip all morning, and I don;t think I had any impulse buys, I stuck to my list. I spent $61 and saved $40. Go me! :) Not as great as my other trip but I can't complain.
I'd like to get lots of freezer dinners and easy stuff since baby should come any time now! I have 10 days left till D-day! I was up for an hour with contractions, but when they didn't change i just went back to bed. Still had some when I woke up but same as 2 am. False labor, but at lest it helps right.
But my sister had her baby last Sunday. Uriah Michael, 10:58, 9lbs 11oz. He's a big boy, but so sweet! I saw him later the day he was born, and then again yesterday for dinner at my sisters. Tiernan came down with a fever sunday and an ear infection, so we kept our distance 'till he was feeling better.
I'm getting impatient GET OUT KYLIE GRACE!

been in coupon land!

One month ago (exactly) I went to a coupon seminar. It cost $10 to go but my following grocery bill i spent $48 and saved $58. So I think the one time $10 fee already has been made up for! Most my spare time now has been spent cutting, sorting, and looking for (more) coupons (to cut and sort). Right now I'm using a yearly planner to house my coupons and well it's not really working to well!
Well "That lady" (who held the seminar) is giving away a free coupon binder. Which I as going to make one (eventually) anyway. But free is better for me! Here is a link the her website if anyone else would like to enter to win one...But if you win you should think of me! haha IamTHATlady She has a picture of what it looks like too, and you can order one off her site incase you miss the free entry.

not again...

I realized that its been forever since I posted! Life has been stressful! My husband up and quit his job, with not even a day let alone a two week notice. He started delivering news papers thats night he quit. Big jump in pay for sure! Within four days he had a second job though so it was to terrible. But no were a week behind on pay with the gap. He's going to make the same amount of money but he's killing himself working two jobs instead of one. I also found out in this financial crunch that he started smoking again! He had been smoking about a pack a day for "2-3 weeks" witch in "I'm sorry I lied but I'm still trying to cover my butt here" language means 3-4 weeks. I figured in the average of 3 weeks he smoked away 141 dollars and some odd change! He was stressed about money so he wasted $141! While I'm sitting home doing nothing because we can't afford it, and cutting coupons for everything and budgeting...He is off smoking! I wanted to kill him, it's been two days and I'm still not over it, in fact I'm getting madder as i type...
I haven't gotten a haircut in over a year! After Tiernan I sold all my maternity clothes in a garage sale. I have one (maternity) t-shirt I got for free, and 4 dress shirts (one short, one 3/4, and one long sleeved), 3 spaghetti strap tank tops I wear under shirts and one regular long sleeve thermal-ish. Then I have one pair of black dress pants (that are two short) and a pair of jeans thats hurt. I'm very thankful because most of that (not the pants) were gifts! Now saying that it has been 85+ degrees out and I'm HUGELY pregnant! Do you want to wear warm clothes and dress shirts with PANTS in that kind of weather? No and neither do I! But being tight on money I've dealt with what little I had, wore sweat pants when i could, and hubbies t-shirts around the house. My sister got me 2 more short sleeve t-shirts on sale ($4 and $8) that I now have as of yesterday. At 4 and 8 dollars a piece do you know how many maternity t-shirts I could have had with $141? Somewhere between 17 and 35 shirts! Seeing as I don't need that many shirts I could have gotten capris and or shirts to wear too... But no, the cigarets where way more important! ARG!

On a separate note, Elijah has a big boo boo on his "uncle." On his legs he has both uncles and ankles, but know knees lol! He also went to his first baseball game with my sisters family! Also Tiernan got his first black eye yesterday, curtsy of daddy. Or course it was an accident though, Eli was chasing Tiernan, Tiernan was running (kinda) away hit daddies coffee, Daddy swung his arm to catch it and some how got Tiernan is the eye. My poor little guy! He as pretty upset 'till mommy got a freezer pop for him to eat and another for his eye. Now Elijah keeps getting random boo boo's so he can have one too! My kids are so funny.
Well the boys only nap at the same time for a short period of time, and I've spent a lot of it blogging so I think its time to shower and do dishes! Don;t be to jealous...

Why is it...?

Why is it that:

when you finish doing the dishes you find some more "hiding" in another room?
after you vacuum your kids wants to eat breakfast while watching cartoons and spill it everywhere?
after you clean the toilet someone is GOING to pee on the seat?
during nap time someone drives by with a loud car/truck/sound system to wake the kids?
right after you draw with chalk the rain washes it away?
you struggle to get downstairs and out the front door with your kids and realize you forgot the whole reason for the trip on the table?
when you really want to be outside on a nice day the kids are terrible and don't deserve a trip to the park?
the meal you eat after you mop the kitchen floor gets thrown by your toddler?
when you have dinner ready your husband comes home late from work?
When you have extra money something breaks?

Spring nesting

So I haven't decided if i'm "nesting" or "spring cleaning" yet. What really is the difference? Isn't spring cleaning just nesting when your not pregnant? Thats kind of what I think, so I guess I'm just "spring nesting"? All the laundry is done, folded and for the most part put away! We need more dressers or less clothes. They are all filled to the brim, and there are only more clothes in baskets and storage...
Now the toys...thats a whole different story! The boys each have a tot/bin for their toys, which are over flowing to the floor and daddy had to bild selfs for Elijah room for the "big toys." With baby #3 on the way and being a girl she will get a whole new set of toys! I have been trying to sort and get rid of broken toys, and the less played with. But as soon as we get to the bottom the boys find a toy that is a favorite and just fell through the cracks. I feel terrible throwing away/donating toys. I know at one point all these toys were a favorite of one of my children. But at the same time they are just cluttering my tiny apartment!!
Working at McDonald's sure didn't help any. I got so so many free toys when I worked, and when I came in on a day off with the boys they always got 1-4 free toys from my friends/co-workers. I have doubles and triples of a lot of them. I have more toys and clothes for these kids than they will ever wear/use and i feel terrible getting rid of any of them! I need to just go in and find all the broken toys and toss them, all the stained clothes and toss them!
I have all the clothes Tiernan grew out of, but I promised them to my sister if she's having a boy (they aren't finding out) or my friend if she's having a boy. My sister has a boy and a girl so she doesn't need them, but as her sister i feel its my civil duty (lol) to give her first dibs! But my friend it's her first baby and she doesn't have anything. She finds out next tuesday what she's having. Thats going to be tough to get rid of Elijah and Tiernan's old clothes, I'm attached to them, its sad! We don't have room so I know they have to go, and this IS our last baby, i think, for a while..who knows!
Well after my little rant I need to get these toys ut of my living room so Eli can join his brother for a nap, and I can vacuum, clean out the closet in my room, and load the car with bottles and cans, and recyclables...
*80 days till Kylie is due*

super excited!

Haven't wrote in a loooong time, and when I signed on today I had 5 followers! Wicked cool..love it..
So I'm finally in my 3rd trimester and I can "feel it." Everything is ticking me off and I'm very moody as of late! I got anther bill for a "no show" on a Dr. appointment. I showed up for every appointment I ever made there, or canceled/postponed. I'm really bad with confirmation and I was starting to get REALLY mad, so my mom told me I should wrote them instead of calling. GREAT idea mom! Seeing as I'm extra moody and ticked off I thought I might explode, or cry on the phone with them. So I wrote them a letter and I got the right amount of "witchy" with a inch of polite. I feel a lot better now! I think I'm going to start writing letter more often now!
Today is a beautiful day out and I just want to be out with the kids! But of course Tiernan got cranky and wanted to nap...party pooper!! Eli didn't want to eat or nap but I told him it's the only way to have energy to play more later! I hope he gets up before Tiernan so we can go play out front and maybe go to the park after.. But sitting here with the blinds open and sun just pouring in, I'm getting super antsy to go back out. But I really should fold laundry...yuck!
Not really much "new" happening here lately.. Joe took his midterm last night for Firefighter 1. So I'm excited thats half over. Not sure when Firefighter 2 starts up, but I'm really not looking forward to it! But I have to keep in mind that being a volunteer fire fighter can turn in to a (much needed) career move. Right now I feel its unfair, he's never home as is and I never get to go out of the house alone (no kids), how selfish of him right!? Thats terrible.. being a fire fighter is a very unselfish thing to do! There goes my moody pregnant brian again!
I made a new blog and I think I'm going to go write in that now, I'm feeling quite sarcastic at the moment!

Proud momma!!

So I have been teaching the boys sign language! I think its so cool that they can sign to me... Elijah can do about 8 signs in 2 weeks or soo. A lot are animals because thats what he likes! He knows Lion, monkey, bird, elephant, more, mom, dad, thank you, drink... I think thats all for him. Tiernan can only do to so far but its to cute!!! He does more and drink. He does them both wrong but he's only 13 months he'll catch on. For more he puts one finger to the other open hand instead of both hands "pinched" going together and apart, and for drink he kinda just smacks his mouth instead of doing a c near his mouth. But needless to say I'm pretty happy with it! Tiernan uses his signs a little more since he can't talk, but Elijah uses them randomly when he is talking and he really tried to help his little brother use them!
Because they have been such awesome kids I tool them to the park today, the weather said it was going to be 70 with rain in the afternoon. I thought 9:30 was a good time to go then! Shortly after we got there it got cold and starting getting dark. The boys only got to play for about 45 mins before it started to thunder. I was sad too! Tiernan never has gotten to go to a park to play really, and there weren't a lot of kids to make it to busy. Tiernan still wont walk so he crawled in the wood chips and across the wood bridge thing the bounces. He was having a blast! I took some pictures but left the camera in the car!!! Elijah is so scary at the park! He goes down the biggest slides and down the fireman pole (with mommies help). He's just fearless!
I had to make Elijah a promise today that I DO intend to keep! He wants me to climb trees with him and play! I can't really do all that being pregnant! So I promised him this is our last baby so I can do all the fun stuff with him again soon! I never was much of an outside play person even when I was little (even ask my sister she hated that), But when your mommy you'll do anything for your kids... Yes that means learn to climb trees and touch nasty worms and bugs lol! I might even relearn how to ride a bike, haven't done so since I was 11? maybe...and it wasn't with to much success! To bad they don't have adult size training wheels! HAHAHA!!
Well nap time is almost over for Tiernan I should get laundry ready to go in and do all that mommy/wife stuff I do... Not that I want to...and its national no housework day! But I since I already started I might as well finish and celebrate tomorrow lol!

Easter!

We had an amazing Easter day yesterday! I forgot to put the boys baskets out the night before so when Elijah was going potty with daddy and Tiernan was still sleeping I snuck out with the baskets and put them on the tv stand. Elijah had already picked that he wanted the orange one, and Tiernan would have the blue. We also got a pink one for baby girl for next year. We bought new ones this year so they would all be the same size, no fighting, and Joe gave our to his mom on accident! Eli knew what one was his just by what was in them. He was sooo excited! We didn't really do to much candy. They got cars and bubbles stuff like that! When Tiernan got up he went for the car first and started picking jelly beans out of the Easter grass. It was so cute, and he loves jelly beans!
After playing with toys, having breakfast and some candy, the boys and I went off to church. They did a play and It was so so so cute! AFter church we picked up Joe and went off to my sisters for Easter dinner. My sisters fam, my parents and two other families from church came to dinner as well... They left soon after and then It was family only which was kinda nice, not that it wouldn't have been nice if they stayed. Then Briella (my niece who is 4) and Elijah had an easter egg hunt! That was the highlight of the day. So cute, so much fun too. We only found 39 out of the 24 eggs that were JUST hidden, luckily they are outside though. After it was desert and coffee.
Joe's mom called soon after and we headed up the my brother in laws house for easter with them and more desert. The bys each got another easter basket from mom mom and pop pop. More toys, candy and what not! We only stayed a short while because it was getting late but it was nice. While we were there hubby asked to buy one of his brothers grill from him, So we got a $100 grill for $20. I swear he can buy things you didn't know you were selling, and sell you things you didn't know you wanted to buy! He's to funny! But we have a grill now, it needs a tube, grease catcher, and the tank needs to get filled, but I'm happy! Were grilling tonight!
All in all Easter was a very nice day. Daddy even took Elijah out to ride his new bike for a little, he didn't do to good though. Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way home, stayed asleep to be carried up to beds, and stayed asleep as we put them in. That never happens they must have been beat. I feel asleep on the couch shortly after. This morning though I woke up to a huge mess since we had such a bust weekend. Toys and candy everywhere and the kitchen was a mess even though I've hardly cooked all weekend.
Have I mentioned I hate Easter grass!? Well I do, so to get it out of my sight till next year, I already put the boys candy in ziplock bags and put the baskets up. Now I just have to sort the toys out, they got all mixed this morning, then to their separate rooms! But looking at all the candy they got...holy cow! Hubby and I each got a basket from his mom too so there is more candy in this house than anything right now. I already told my mom she needs to come over and help us with it!
Oops this was ment to just be a little update and turns out much longer than I had anticipated!

The original Public Bathroom

It hit 80 outside today! What a great day for a trip to the park! Apparently we weren't the only ones who thought that today, and theres no school today. The park was busy with little ones today and I guess the park maintenance hasn't started yet! There was broken glass my the picnic area next to the play ground. As for bathroom they were closed and locked up from last year! How great! Its 80 degrees, everyone is at the park, lots or water/juices being consumed and to bathrooms!
Of course I found this out the hard way as Elijah tells me he has to go during our picnic lunch on the complete opposite side of the park as the bathrooms. I Get up walk him all the way over to the restrooms, fight his little urges to play basket ball with the big boys and go down the slide, and we see they are still closed! NOOOOO!! Were potty training and we haven't started the lesson on "holding it." We get all the way back to our picnic and he used the nearest bush. How embarrassing was that. Of course he thought It was great but I was humiliated!
A little while later after some play and more juice he has to go again! This results in an accident.. Good thing I was prepared!! We had a pull up and some more pants, to bad the accident was in undies. But 10 minutes after his accident he runs over to the bush from earlier, drops his pants and "uses it" again! Lucky for me I had a boy, my sister and friends had girls. They had to drive to a nearby store to use the potty there. Good thing the girls are better at holding it than Elijah! I guess now we know for next time to check to make sure potties are open before going to the park and drinking lots and lots of juice!
But needles to say it was a very fun and eventful day at the park! We were there from a little before noon to almost 3. This was of course followed by nap time! Were going to color easter eggs tonight so after a mix of sun screen, sweet, and dye/vinegar the night will end it tubby time!

Ps we all wore our blue today for autism awareness day did you?

public restrooms...

I was at wal mart tonight and my potty training little boy needs to go potty urgently! I go in to women's room with my 3 year old and my 13 month old. I was really hoping for the handicap stall because it has a seat for the little one while i help the other one use the potty. Well of course its in use! And no she was not handicapped at all, no wheelchair, no walker she appeared perfectly able to use a "normal" stall. And she didn't have a child with her she needed to keep an eye on or use the little seat I had planned to use for my toddler!

Anyways.. the regular size stall is hard enough for just me to get in with my big preggo belly, let alone a toddler on my hip and a 3 year old. So needless to say i was pretty ticked at this point! I decided to let Elijah use it "by himself" and I was going to keep the door open and stand outside! As i'm bent over pulling down his pants and pull up he can't hold it anymore and pees a little on the floor and my leg! Now i'm very irritated! He went very well tho standing up at the potty all by himself though! I was very proud of him...

I was so ticked at the lady in the handicap stall so when my peed on the floor in front of the door I didn't tell her... Luckly another women was in with her little boy and helped Eli wash his hands for me... But really! Why did that women think she needed to use that stall? the bathroom wasn't busy and there were other stalls she could have used. What if a person who really needed it came in and couldn't use the restroom at all!

I guess I'm really sensitive to it in addition because my best friend growing up was in a wheelchair! But if you don't NEED it don't USE it! Another thing is why can't all places have the small toilet for children to use! I've seen some at wegmans, other wal marts and the mall! Do they really want to have to mop up pee all the time from little ones?

breast feeding

I joined the website I love, cafemom.com. I joined all these groups that apply to my life, one for each month my kids are due it, potty training, toddlers, babies, and pregnancy ones among others. Well on there today a women posted asking if she had to breast feed using her "ta tas" or if she could just pump.

I answered that I believed she could, but it would be harder and she might not get as much. I was trying to be supportive, but the nicer I was to her the more I just wanted to yell at her! I know its stupid, but I've been crazy this pregnancy! I breast feed my son Elijah till he was 1 year, and Tiernan till he was 8.5 months. They both weened themselves, and I felt like a terrible mother every time I gave Tiernan formula like I had failed him in some way. I know I'm crazy like I already admitted, but It's just how I felt. I plan on breast feeding this little one as long as she will go also!

I don't get it though. Why not breast feed? Unless the baby wont latch or some other outstanding circumstance I just don't get it. I feel that its usually the mother being selfish! Like smoking and drinking is soooo much more important then giving your child the best start possible. I guess since I don;t smoke and only drink on rare occasions that I don't get the importance. Yes two times while i was nursing Tiernan did I have a couple drinks. They were my sister in laws batchlorette party and her wedding. And I felt terrible both times that I choose what I wanted over my baby and gave him formula.

When I had Elijah I was a "Teen mom" I had turned 19 exactly 4 months before he was born. I feel like I missed out on lots having him so young. I didn't get to be a normal 19 year old, 20 year old and so on. I also feel I let my husband down on a typical dating experience when we first met. I had a babysitter our first date or two but after that Elijah came with us. I was still breastfeeding at the time and only 20 so its not like we were planning on going to clubs and bars but still. But there I was at 19 years old and I even choose my son over myself!

I sometimes can't help looking at my situation and judging other people by it. Like "I did it why can't they?" or "they are older and more mature than I was and look how I did things better." Which in honesty yes I breastfeed while I was 19, living with my sister and her family, working at mcdonalds and dropped out of college. GO ME!

I am a very shy inverted person and I would breast feed in public too! I feel if my kids hungry I'm going to feed him! It's what they were made for anyway right!? Yea I know I'm right there, if they weren't made to produce milk they wouldn't. Not that i just exposed myself, whipped out my breast in front of everyone and latched on my baby. Not even close... With my first son I used a blanket, and my second I bought a cover that wrapped around. In both cases you would have thought I was just cold and trying to keep warm if you looked quick. And yes I did nurse my son in church, but again I didn't sit in the front row and expose myself, I moved to the back, went to the entry way with the couch, or even in the nursery.

They also make shirts that are perfect for nursing so you'r abdomen stays covered and a top layer comes up to expose a nursing bra. I don't have those, they are a little costly for only a years or so worth of wear, but I'm going to beg hubby! I also bought two nursing tank tops, they work just like a nursing bra on are a tank. They work well under a sweater or button up shirt. I guess i just don;t get with all these comfort options why anyone would still choose not to nurse, its the best thing for your child!

I've had people come up to me and give me suggestions about this pregnancy or my kids that with help with problems or allergies later on and I just think "or you could just have breastfeed them and you wouldn't have to worry about it." Like I can eat peanut butter with out my baby getting asthma...

Off topic a tad... I hate maternity pants! They are terrible! After how many years of making these don't you think they could get it right? Im wearing jeans right now and they are just hanging off my butt and legs. The elastic band as soon as I washed it it folded and no longer lays flat around my belly! I just ajusted it and looked down to see a huge dark red ring around my hips from how it was sitting. These aren't cheap either, I got them from motherhood maternity! My sister got hers cheaper from Bon Ton and loves them..go figure. I paid more and hate them she paid less and loves them... At motherhood you also can't return anything. How ridiculous in my opinion. I could see if there was a time limit, so you don't wear them for your pregnancy than try to get your money back.

I feel much better after my little rant here! I feels good to get things off my chest once and a while. And since no one reads this anyways I wont get any negative feedback. Thats good I guess, even though I am kinda in the mood to debate!

Can it get much worse?

I found myself asking this question over and over again today! Can It get much worse? I know the answer is OOOH YEAH! I know everything could be a lot worse, but today was one of the worst days I've had in a while!

My neighbor must think I'm some bi polar or crazy nutcase mother who beats her kids! I slammed boxed, hit the table, screamed at the top of my lungs many times all while my 3 year old cried his head off! He was terrible today! He wouldn't listen to me for anything, he was back talking me and telling me no when I'd say anything as small as "come here" to something bigger like "clean up your cards so brother doesn't eat them!" I threaten him that he wasn't going to be aloud go for walks, see aunt Jessie, have popsicles...and the list goes on! The weather was so nice I went for a walk because I wanted to not because he deserved it! The rest he didn't get to do.

I made muffins, he ate one and the tops of four more just because he could. I don't get why he steals food! He does it all the time! Its like I don't feed him or something, But I sure do! Then Tiernan he's going to eat me out of house and home too, and he's only one haha.

So I did laundry and folded it all day and I'm sitting here with all of it but my husbands clothes folded! Elijah is sitting on top of them contemplating if its a good idea to jump off. I think his answer is "jump." I called the Child Support helpline today because it has been 4 weeks no support, but they aren't very helpful! I called my dr. because i needed to reschedule my sonogram, and follow up dr's appointment. I waited an hour or longer for a call back, just for them to tell me i had to call a different place. I called that place, they took a message called me back 20 minutes and made me 3 appointments. Then they called me back and told me I needed to go to the first place I called that sent me to them, but took away those 3, and made just one appointment! Phone tag anyone?

Now Im sitting here watching a movie that I really didn't think I was going to like just because I wanted to watch a girlie movie instead of the crap my husband watches. But the thing is...I was right. I DON'T like it. But I'm watching it anyway still. Note to all... The Ugly Truth is a very stupid stupid movie, not funny at all. But I guess its better than Saw VI or 21 jump street right?

Tiernan went to bed early, 7:30 and thats going to be bad in the am! Now Elijah is being pretty good so he's still awake but will still wake up same time! Im going to go to bed late and up early like always. Not to mention I already know I'm going to be hurting from this walk I took today! After the walk I had an errand to run so I got in the car, reset the mile thing and drove what I just walked and it was exactly one mile. I'm already hurting a little, I'm not used to getting out and going for a walk up and down hills pushing two kids in a double stroller! Put together the boys weigh about 48 pounds lol. My back hurts, sciatica, and my but and legs!

Not to mention its wednesday! I had dinner made and we ate, and it was put in the fridge by the time joe got out of work, over an hour late! He ate fast, hopped in the shower and was off to drill. Last night he was "on stand by" for a big fire in our town, but he's in the department for the town right nest to it so he was on stand by incase they needed extra help. It would have been his first fire, but instead he sat at the fire house from 1:30 am to 3:30am (ish) for nothing. I had to wake his lazy butt up this morning and he had 10 mins to get ready for work and get there!

I already know tomorrow is going to have a bad start but I really hope it goes better than today did. On that note...I'm off to put Eli to bed and finish my (sucky) movie. I need time alone before Joe gets home. But I'm not folding his laundry tonight! It can wait!

catch up!

I have a problem sticking to things! This is one thing I really want to stick with though. I haven't wrote in 3 or 4 days. I have been busy and/or to miserable to write in all honesty! So heres a a little catch up...

Wednesdays are THE WORST day of the week for me. Hubby Joe goes in to work at 7:30/8:00 and works all day, and gets out at 5. That is if he gets out on time anyway. Then he comes home showeres and eats if he has time. Then off to drill until 8ish. He's a volunteer firefighter. So for 12 hours, minus the shower and speedy dinner, I am home alone with my two boys. I love them to death but being stuck in the house with nothing to do drives me crazy. Its still to cold and snowy to go out and play outside now. Hubby didn't even get out of work until 6:30 this week. We were already 3/4 of the way done with dinner seeing as I was expecting him at 5:30 at the latest. He decided not to go to drill but after dinner he wanted to go work on his wonderful car for an hour!

He skipped drill but he and the kids got the same amount of time with him as normal. Tiernan goes to bed at 8, so I had to keep him up later than he wanted so Joe could see him for a few mins, and Elijah goes to bed at 8:30 usually so he got less than half an hour. It's so hard because Joe works long hours and barely gets time with the kids as is, but when I think he should be playing with them, he needs is down time!

Last night, friday, the boys got their pictures taken. I kinda thought it was a scam, ABC studios, how generic, but it was only $10. My mom paid for it and was coming with us to help. Well Elijah was getting a bit shaggy so he needed a hair cut before any pictures would be taken for sure! My sister took Tiernan to Mcdonalds for fries while I took Eli to get his hair cut. For one the sign on the wall said "kids hair cuts $9.95" and we were charged $11.95. There was also a sign that said "If what you pay is different than your receipt call *this number*" But I wasn't even given a receipt. Plus the girl couldn't been less interested in doing my sons hair cut! ranted he's 3 and the clippers "tickle" and he gets distracted when he should be "looking down." But she wasn't chatty or friendly, and she didn't do a very good job. It was better than before but still not what I was looking for.

So when my mom got out of work we were al ready and in the car waiting for her, and off to price chopper where the pictures would be. For starters we had to find where they were doing the pictures, it was in the back room labeled "employees only." There was no sign for pictures this way, no poster, no guy standing out there guiding us of anything. Ridiculous i think!!! So we go back there and sign in and go for our pictures. Its just a regular white background limited props and one guy with a camera (besides the sign in guy). There were flowers petals all over the cloth were the BOYS had to sit. That makes for a great picture, if they are wedding or engagement anyway... They got a pretty cute one of them together, and Eli is such a clown, he was posing and hamming it up! He got a cute picture alone also. Then time for just Tiernan haha yeah that went good... He gave a cheesie face and played with the flowers. Then we tried on his belly and he crawled away.. he got an ok one but oh well.

What we paid for was just one 8 x 10 I think of both of them (the $10), then the camera guy says "you got 150 on you" Like i just carry it around for s's and g's. Then he asked my mom, yea ok. We knew he was trying to scam up into getting all those special prints and all that. But not like he even sat down with us and showed us all the pictures (besides on the back of his camera). We weren't paying for something before we saw the end result you know! But next friday I get to go back and pic up our picture.

Today were going to wal mart in fulton, its about 15 minutes away from the one in our town. But my mom has anxiety and can't travel out of town. My dad asked if I wanted to go also, I think he thinks that having the boys as a slight distraction, and me and him as moral support she will do good! I'm excited, I get to go out of the house. The better she gets with this the more we can all do together. I remember when I was little (elementary school) we'd go to the mall with my aunt and other store that are more like 45 minutes form home. I'd love to be able to go to the mall with my mom again, and the boys. Sounds silly but its the little things sometimes that mean a lot right?

I have a feeling we'll end up going out to eat, it will be the third time this week that the boys go out. My parents went out with us on Monday, that we went after the hair cut. We never really go out but 3 times in one week, thats a bit much. I've been trying to eat healthy lately with this pregnancy. But when I eat healthy I want to eat lots more often! I guess its different when its good for you, but I feel like a pig! Within the last 2 or 3 days I ate a whole head of iceburg lettuce.

I know a lot more has happened with in these last few days but my memory is shot! Pregnancy brain you know! Ta Ta for now!

What a day...

Yesterday we all woke up usually time, I made breakfast for my little family of 4, now sure why 4 of us can eat a dozen scrambled eggs. That kinda sickens me to think about! But the boys and I left around 10:30 for church. As soon as we get there we take our coats off and Elijah removes his shoes as well. He's just like his mommy, if I don't need to wear shoes I don't! Tiernan woke up at 6 again so was over due for his nap by this time! So during church Tiernan actually took a bottles of cold milk and slept through the pastor.

Now let me explain... We sit in the front row of an evangelical church! If you've ever been you know thats sleeping is not an option! This boy barely will drink cold milk in a cup, and nothing but warm milk in his bottles! So for him to even fall asleep was amazing! Then to stay asleep I was amazed to say the least.

After church I was late of course because I love to chit chat and so do most women there! I had to pick up hubby from home and then drop Elijah off with Corey, his father at my parents. I was late of course but not more than 5 to 10 minutes so I think I was ok! Afterwards hubby decided to look at a car he saw on craigs list earlier. It is a 96 Buick lesabre for only 500! Not bad right? Well we get there is the body is great and its suppose to run, but needs something rather minor in "the car world." The guy and hubby try starting and jumping this car for 20+ minutes while I try an entertain Tiernan in the back seat! I'm hungry, he's hungry, and I know that everyone is at lunch with out us I was ready to take off with out loving hubby! Being tenacious, and a mechanic, hubby kept at it!

Finally hubby decided is not worth it and were off to lunch! FINALLY! Hubby then calls the guy back and offers him 200 for the car. He knew he could fix it up cheap and it would be worth it, and the guy was in desperate need for it gone since it would be towed and impounded the next morning! The offer was counter offered with 400! Yeah right! The guy calls back and say 350... hubby says he doesn't really need the car, we don't, and he will only go 250. We get a deal. He could scrap it and come out even! We buy a batter and go buy our "new" car. Needless to say, a new battery was all it needed. Now we have two vehicles and share a driveway with our neighbor. Its a 3 car driveway, but hubby fits the truck and the car at the narrow back and sucks in his gut to get out between them!

By this time Tiernan and I had been in the car for way way to long, and we had Elijah again now. We head over to my sister for homemade chicken noodle soup, italian bread and banana cream pudding pie thing for desert. Mmh! After a hectic day running here and there and everywhere it was nice to just sit down, eat and play a game! Eli got to run free, Tiernan got to crawl ALL over, and I got out of that dang jeep! We stayed way to late like always, but with the boys staying up late (even though both fell asleep there), they slept in today so I got to also!

Did I mention this was all done in heals? haha...what a day!

Sharing

Today Elijah (3) asked for a popsicle as his snack, he's been good so I thought "why not?" right? Tiernan (1) can't feed himself popsicle, so I let him have a little taste of Elijah's and gave him some kix for his snack... Tiernan was not satisfied with this what so ever! He wanted popsicle too, and started to throw his cereal onto the floor. Next thing I know I look over at Tiernan's now very quiet high chair where I see Elijah sticking the popsicle into Tiernan's mouth while chowing down on his little brothers kix cereal, as fast as Tiernan could feed him of course! What? Wouldn't you think he'd be gloating over his "big boy snack" while Tiernan had the "baby snack." Not my Elijah.

Right before hand Elijah was "calling" everyone he could because he wanted me to take a nap and see a doctor. Apparently a headache caused my lack of sleep requires a trip to the ER! Mer mer (my mom) was his first call, seeing as she works at kinneys he was pretty close. Next was papa (my dad) who is driving home from florida. Elijah told papa to bring every one popsicles, and thats how the whole "mess" started! Yes mess! Now I had kix all over my floor (boy do those thing travel), and red popsicle dripped from Elijahs chair to Tiernan, all around it, and on the try.

Neither one has gotten enough sleep so I am very surprised either one is behaving well today. Tiernan went to bed at his normal time, 8:00. But woke up in the middle of the night, around 1:20 for more Tylenol. He's getting his molars, all but one has popped throw and he sure is miserable lately. Elijah was a good boy yesterday so daddy and I watched night at the museum 2 with him and were up to 10, which is an hour and a half later than his normal bed time. Tiernan woke up at 6am this morning but played in his crib until I could fully wake up about 45 minutes later. His normal wake up has been around 9 this week. Elijah got up an hour or so early himself, 7am.

I look forward to nap time very much when I'm home alone with them. The magical time is normal noon to 2:30. Due to the change in sleep patterns Tiernan wanted to nap at 10:30, well doesn't that just mess things up! Now they wont nap together... Elijah went down at 11:30 but it took him a while to stop playing, I mean fall asleep. When Tiernan woke up I was tired and miserable with a headache. I wasn't letting Tiernan feed himself so he was actually calling to daddy (who just left to go back to work), and his brother "Lijah!" Needless to say he woke up from his nap early too! Right now I have 2 hours till my hubby is suppose to get out of work, but never really does!

Some times I wonder why I don't drink! ha ha not really...

You have to start somewhere!

For a little while know I have been wanting to create a blog, but I was really unsure as to what I had to talk about! Im not an expert on anything, I don't work and didn't go to college... I am a stay at home mom and have been for about two months! I am constantly posting updates on my facebook about all the cute, new, scary, bad, and amazing things that happen on a day to day basis as a stay at home mommy to my crazy children! I recently posted that I should write a book, and a lightbulb turned on! Thats what I can blog about! I am an expert at my children.

So here it is, my very first post n my very first blog. I don't think my high school "blog" ever counted for real that is. I've had live journal, deadjournal, melodramatic and others that I can never seem to commit to! I think that would be because I never had anything worth writing about. My hopes are that this will be different. I have always loved writing but I have to confidence in it, or really in much of anything.

I know that this will start out hairy like most but hopefully will get better with time. I'm really not sure how blogging should go and I'm sure it will take time to get the hang of everything here on blogger. But I'm willing to try and make this work. If for nothing/nobody else I hope to use this to better myself and my growing family.

Here's to a new beginning!
