new babies!

We got new babies the other day! Meet Lyla (left) and Gus (right). We are kind of terrible with pets at our house! We got two ferrets 3 years ago and kept them maybe a month before selling them, they were to much work when I was pregnant and Joe and I both had full times jobs. We moved shortly after and then joe came home with a bunny. We didnt keep him very long either! Then we got a puppy! She was sweet!! But again we both worked full time, leaving not much time (or patience) for crate/potty training. Then our newborn was getting rashy and I figured he was allergic. Sorry Roxy but we chose the baby. We sold her to a really nice lady, glad she went to a good home!
But now this momma stays at home, the kids are a bit older (and helpful) and we decided to try ferrets again! We got them a week ago yesterday and they were rescues, but it kinda feels like we rescued them from their rescuers! They had 4 siblings, Joe didn't see the cage size, but they never got out to play. He said the house we extrememly net and clean but stunk like animals, but that coulf have been the 2 big dogs, 3 pigs, 4 ferrets, and the DUCK in the tub. They still stink a little, but hopefully eating ferret food instead of dog food (yes they were being feed dog food), getting their vitamins and the deodorizer in their water and a little spray will help with that.
